The Kewpie doll has been a favorite of doll collectors for many years. Just the presence of this impish little doll has the ability to brighten a room. This Kewpie is a reproduction of the dolls produced by Rosie O'Neill from 1912 to 1935. Many likenesses of this doll exist in either figurines, postcards or dolls. The original Kewpies were most often found with molded hair and painted eyes, but other versions were also produced. At 11" tall, this Kewpie is a wonderful size for a small display case, or as filler among larger dolls. It is dressed in an adorable sunsuit, and has painted hair and eyes.
